Advice on buying a used 1000-5

You guys definitely helped me make my decision. It's in the works for the 2022 Trail Edition. I noticed that I could hear & feel it shift, is that normal 'for Hondas? From some of the stuff I've read it's typical. The dealer said it was normal and I noticed it on another used Pioneer they had for sale.

If u don’t hear the click/thunk - something is wrong!!!!!

After about 2 miles you will appreciate it.

I did have a potential buyer walk away from my primo <200 mile P1000 for sale - he told me transmission was broke, those noises aren’t normal and that was why I was selling it - lol .

The click is the shifting solenoid, then a fast and smooth transition to the next gear.

All shaft, no rubber. twss

You are going to love it! I love mine. I changed all the fluids on mine to synthetic at my first service. the diffs really quieted down with the change. First mod I recommend is to remove the cat There are a couple of threads on here and a youtube video Takes a couple of hours but make a great improvement. The engine breaths easier and there is less cab heat. The cab heat may not be an issue today but you will definitely notice it in the summer
