I found myself using the talon more in the winter, in MN we haven't had much snow the last couple of years and had more trails open up for winter riding. I convert mine to a winter mode with the original doors and Honda soft cab, I use the aluminum doors and keep things open in the summer. While the soft cab helps with wind I found myself wanting heat and didn't really have room for the OEM or other options that tap into the coolest. Plus they are limited to the machine, I was intrigued with the diesel heater idea. So on Black Friday I took the leap and bought the HCalory TB2 Toolbox 2, shameless plug use code GEAR8 if you want one.

I was looking for something to add to a PACKOUT box but kept seeing the expense add up for conversion kits and parts, then I thought I bet I could mount the Toolbox2 to a packout base. This ended up turning out really great, easy to remove for the summer or move over to tent for camping with just a screwdriver to remove the hose clamp. I will probably add another thumbscrew hose clamp to make things a little easier.

I will link below to some supplies as well if you're interested in DIY.

Did you seal up the doors to help keep the heat in?
