I overheated several times. In early March I winched it waaaaay up in a tree and burped it real well, later had the fan update done at dealer. I have not had any problem since then, and hoping I don't. Leaving next week for a 3 day ride at Tackett Creek, TN., that will be the test to confirm if fixed.

During our ride at Tackett Creek I DID overheat to 4 bars once, after having a lot of mud in radiator coils. After spray washing at the creek, it never got above 3 bars the next 2 days, and that was usually after HARD, LONG uphill climbs.

The cap doesn't open with temp, it opens with pressure. You guys are thinking of the thermostat. The "1.1" is the pressure in bars (roughly 15.9 psi).

No I did not. The cap is a 1.1 (I know that's not the temp) They make a 1.6 which raises the temp 25 deg. any thoughts or knowledge on this cap.
