Update.......

Local weather station just reported snow depths at 18". My wind gauge shows the wind at 24 MPH right now with a recorded gust in the last hour of 35MPH. Glad that I plugged in the big tractor for the morning.

I've only had my Pioneer a couple of weeks so haven't had it out yet (long story) but work shut down so I took it out in the snow today. I think we're at around 10 inches so far and it's suppose to snow the rest of the day at least. 9736832b30c8fe1edb631babc1afc1f0

It's not much in this pic because it's drifting.

I bet it was a cold ride, you should at least get something on there to break the wind, makes me shiver just thinking about it. I spent 3 hrs in mine today (almost blizzard conditions) plowing snow with a sweatshirt on.

Haha....yeah, a bit cold. I had to turn around and get some safety glasses to keep the snowflakes out of my eyes. I'm planning to get a roof and windshield but the dealer wasn't offering much of a deal so I decided to wait until I checked out the aftermarket. I got it mainly for working on our property so just messing around until it warms up. I may try to have it set up for plowing next winter though. Then I'll look into doors and rear panel too. How are you set up for plowing? Full cab I guess? What type of plow?

Use a 1952 Ford 8N no cab. Works great!

20" plus here. Still snowing. Supposed to get another 5 or so today. Luckily it's only like 12 degrees and the snow is light. Lol

I have a 700-4, roof, windshield, all 4 soft doors and a rear/mid panel that I have installed on the very back and the heater. I bought the Eagle plow from american mfg., I like the fact that their mount didn't take away any ground clearance. There was snow blowing in the cab from time to time, but I still am able to stay warm when plowing.

Just finished 5 hours of snow plowing. Started with the Foreman, then to the 8N, then to the 32 HP John Deere 4WD and finally got the 100HP International 856! 28" of snow mixed with 40 MPH winds = 6 foot drifts packed hard! And it's still snowing!!!!!
