“Clutch’s Basket” build

Will now have nearly everything needed to fully convert Clutch Basket into a real toy hauler. Camper will work great because our space is limited. Toilet/shower/sink combo is easy to maintain and small. Gives us holding tanks, propane bottles with regulator and tie downs,inverter,fuse panel,cabinet doors,outside shower and all hookups along with all kinds of goodies.
Bought this for $225 with title! Can sell the camper jacks for 200, fridge 350,oven 100,rear ladder 50 along with a few other things for 200. That puts all of 650 in the pocket. Why not?
The build just got easier.

I like it!! Spent many a nights of my childhood in horse camps sleeping in a camper a lot like that! Hell, we went to Florida one year for spring break (I was 6 or 7) and parked in an abandoned hotel parking lot because we couldn’t afford a hotel. Woke up to the sunrise over the ocean streaming thru the door every morning. Good times!!

It’s not bad at all, never even water damage. I want something easy to drive and a truck camper isn’t. Bought the van as a toy hauler for a reason. Will not vary from that. This just gets us closer to what we need and puts some much needed cash in the pocket. I like building what we want the way we want it anyways.

They’re out there! Around here you can actually get a decent usable camper under 800. Hard to find solid roof or stand mounts. Guess good enough is determined by wants/money. Some a 150k unit isn’t good enough lol.

After the hard cab build I was hoping you would teach me how to build out my enclosed trailer!

Got some more goodies. 45 gal fresh water tank(will be in addition to the 26 that came with camper for 71 gallons) a 32 gallon grey water tank (that Ill convert to black) two more propane bottles, a flip up tv stand(using just the hardware) 2 automatic roof vents with fans. Everything for 45$.
