This is how we winterize in Northeast Ohio
Step 1 Remove half windshield

Step 2 Install full windshield

Step 3 Install snow plow

Step 4 Remove Trigger shield

Step 5 Wait for snow to fall

I was told that if you use clear gas you don’t have to use a stabilizer?

If not going to used during the winter, start it and let it idle for 10minutes per month. That will keep the battery charged and keep the gas fresh in the carb.

They don't have a carb but yes it will help the fuel.

Don't really know that 10 mins a month will keep that battery topped off? In cold weather it will take 10 mins or more just to reach the charge it was at when you turned the key. I run a tender on mine year round.

And if you're going to start it in really cold weather, you should let it run until the engine is up to temperature to get rid of the condensation inside the exhaust system.
