P1000 Windshield ?

Has anyone had problems with the glass windshield cracking? Still on the fence between glass and the polycarbonate.

Has anyone had problems with the glass windshield cracking? Still on the fence between glass and the polycarbonate.

Had one on my 700 and one on my present 1000 no issues. The clamps allow enough shift and movement there's not any discernible amount of force put on the glass. No issues trailering at more than interstate speed for hours on end. Haven't had anything hit it on the road, branches on trail have not been an issue but I don't let anything more than about pencil diameter hit it with any speed if I can prevent it.
