P1000 Windshield

So I've only had my pionner for a couple months. Got the poly tip out Honda windshield. I ve laid her on its side a time or 2....lol and got it zipped tied. Looking at getting a new windshield. Was thinking about a flip up/down poly or full glass w wiper. What I don't know is what it s going to be like when it warms up. Which do you guys perfer. Advantages for both. Thanks.

I have a full glass windshield. Really like it during this winter with the full canvas but during the summer the dust was a issue as there is no vent. It stays clear and doesn’t scratch but I’ve only had the unit for six months so time will tell

IF you want a wiper go with the glass Honda if you want a ful tip out go with the Superatv flip windshield! I have the super tab and love it! I love being able to open it fully in summer or anytime really and have that open feel

I have the Honda glass with the hard back on my 1000-3.
Up here where it's cold for 6 months and a little bit rainy/snowy, those work great.
Don't really need to think about overheating but for 3 or 4 days a year.
Hoping to get a wiper unit soon.

I'm going with the Superatv flip windshield, for me it offers everything I want, full open, vented or closed....I don't want a fully enclosed Cab...I love the openness

I laid it over and broke a few brackets. I got it zipped tied right now and no one would known the difference. The biggest issue I've ran into so far is mud on the windshield. Though I got some mud busters and hope that will help. I had to clean it prob 3-4 times last time we were out which isn't a problem but if it eventually scratches then it would be. Since this one is broke I m just trying to figure what I want to do for the next one.

In weather above 60°, no windshield is the way to go.

In the summer if you trail ride, and you don’t have a windshield be prepared to share the cab with thousands of spiders. FYI.
