Does the foam fit tight enough in the space to keep from moving around when you shift?I got my foam from some packing for a product I received. I would suggest an upholstry shop. Sorry can not be more help.

The foam doesnt move.Does the foam fit tight enough in the space to keep from moving around when you shift?
Yes. Size it up to cover the area. Put the shift lever in neutral position. Make a small slice so that the foam can be pushed over the lever. Using a flat tool work one side of the foam through the shift gate, them work the foam through the other side of the shift gate. Work the foam to spread it out in the area. Then using an olfa knife make a slice through the shifter gate where the lever will travel. If your foam sticks or is clinging to the shift lever try putting some silicone grease in the slot.Push it in from top?
Friend of mine went too local AutoZone, purchased an aftermarket shifter boot, pulled the dash, installed the shifter boot, viola, fixed it. Looks factory, no air coming thru.
Sorry, I don't have a pic. But I will soon. My 2017 Pioneer is being delivered next week, and I'll start all my modifications immediately. 1st one being the shifter bootDo you have a photo of this?
Did you have to take the dash off to get those shifter boots on there?1st shifter boot install complete. Now too get another boot for the 4wd selector

Nope, boot material is thin enough to slide up under your dash plate. Just keep tucking it under till you've got what you need exposedDid you have to take the dash off to get those shifter boots on there?

Not attached to the dash. It's long enough to simply tuck up under the edges around the shifter slot. No part numbers, just went to my local AutoZone and bought a shifter boot that's located in their accessories isle. How is the boot attached to the dash? Got any part #s and supplier info.

Take the shifter knob off .Move the lever to neutral position or in that area. Size up the foam and make a slice to slide the foam over the shift lever. Slice the rest after foam is in position. Well that's the way I did it anyway.
