P1000 Winch mounting plate

I’ve been looking at the KFI one piece mounting plate and was wondering if anyone has had theirs deform after using the winch and also how thick the material is that it’s made from.
I’m considering making my own so the winch will mount higher and the cable will come straight out the fairlead.

My KFI winch is mounted upside down with no angle on rope.

Are you using the stock front bumper? I’d like to see a picture if possible .

i use mine to pull out my docks out of the water and up ramps in the fall.no deforming so far.i could probably pull my hd ram with it.

As you can see, the winch is mounted upside down clutch is on the right side (passenger).

You need the KFI mounting bracket (model specific), easy install.
