P1000 Wheel/Tire pics!

I just built my 2018 Pioneer 1000-3 and went with the smaller 27x11x14 mongrel tires that measure 26 for better performance. I went a size smaller on my Yamaha Wolverine and YXZ for better performance. Larger tires hurt performance due to the extra weight and higher gearing. I like the lower center of gravity too. Now for mud and snow huge tires are preferred for the ground clearance but the maintenance and repair issues increase. I need the best possible reliability for the long remote rides. Also the better performance when riding with my Turbo buddies.

A Roctane XD is 50% heavier than a Blackwater so by reasoning there should be 50% more rubber.

How well are they holding up for others? From my experience on my rzr they arent better if any. Definitely not worth the weight imo unless maybee they do better on the heavier pioneer

Mine look they haven’t even been driven on... they are leaps and bounds ahead of any tire I’ve ran so far. I’m not super easy on tires. Ask @Ragnar406 @my99svt or @Tigermark

Does the pioneer mind the extra weight? I wouldn mind trying a set of 30s just kinda worried about power loss since we are already underpowered from most people I ride with

Noticeable in high range but not much. Low range give gas and she will go! I have not had any problems turning them over.

I’ve been doing fine with the 30” Roctanes for two years now. So yes the machine does OK but I plan on doing a gear reduction within the next couple months.

That doesn't sound much different than my 30" blackwaters really. May try the rocktanes here before to long

For what it's worth. Part of what brought me to my decision was $$, weight, tread depth and actual Hondasxs user testamonials.. I dive in pretty deep before deciding on such things.
There are a couple I liked better but we're too high (ams m1 evil) and some I just hadn't heard about in time or had first hand reviews (quadboss qbt846).

Mine are not nearly as aggressive but in Mississippi we do not have "Big" rocks. Mine are 5+2 x 14" HD 7 with 28x9 and 28x11 Big Horns.
