Just an FYI I have 3 left over bead lock rings only from that wheel I have destroyed racing on too low of air pressure. You pay for the shipping. From 85755. Rings did not get hurt just sun bleached from sitting behind shop.

Sounds like you are the perfect candidate for a set of forged wheels. I tried the cast wheel thing with my short course car and ended up with a pile of broken/cracked wheels.

Do they have a number on the back?

Something like xxx-TH15-01-FB?
If so, I found something interesting between the 2 rings and need a favor.

I could only run 2 bolts down by hand. If I keep these, I'll use a thread chaser to clean up before install.View attachment 400470

Cool site! I assume just about everything on that site is made by racers for racers. No Chinese mass produced anything that I could tell.

Since I had two rings that fit perfectly on both wheels, I figured some "squish zone" measurements needed done before I box up both wheels and return em. For those who don't know (I just heard the term yesterday) this is the space between the ring and wheel that pinches the bead.
Sorry no photos. Old-school Omega calipers were used, no digital readout.
Rings were torqued to 5ft lb using my hand guage. 🤨

System 3 SB-4:
8.5mm ring = 7.5mm squish zone
10mm ring = 9mm

STI HD-9:
8.5mm ring = 6.5mm
10mm ring = 7.5mm

Honestly, both of these wheels had what appeared to be some metric and some SAE precision measurements. For example, the SB-4 squish zone was really 7.62mm or .30" and 8.89mm or .35" respectively.
Hope that makes sense.

I'm now looking for non-beads made here in the states. Hit me up if you know any.

Keizer Wheels. You can order them from Whalen Speed in pretty much any width, offset and without beadlocks. They are very light, strong and a 3 piece design so even if you bend the wheel you can just replace the bent half and not the whole wheel. They are not the cheapest wheels on the market but they are one of the best SxS wheels and 100% made in the USA. Indiana to be exact.....

Edit: OMF would be another good choice. High quality and lots of choices from mild to wild.
