P1000 What ply are P1000 Bighorn 2.0 tires?

Wondering if there is a difference between P1000 BH 2.0 stock tires and the aftermarket 6 ply radials. Thanks. 27x9x14 and 27x11x14.

Found this info. Each star equals a 2-ply rating. For example: One star on the sidewall of a tire means the tire is 2-ply rated. Two stars on the sidewall means the tire is 4-ply rated. Three stars indicate a 6-ply rating.

When I asked, I was told the 14" BH2 OEMs were 4-ply, but the 12" (on steel wheels, I presume) BH2 OEMs were 6-ply.

Bighorns 2.0 that come on can am Mavericks.read 8 ply rating, in the 28” 29”and 30”If you try to buy them , the highest rating u can find is 6 ply.I don’t know what to make of that.Ive been running a set of 29” take offs from a can am on my 1000-5 w good success

They are junk, it’s kinda insulting considering what you have to pay for a 1000. Hell, my 700 stock tires were better lol.

It's very sickening that you cant wear the things out before they get ruined! So far I love the tusk 8 ply almost same pattern trilobite maybe I bought

Yes sir! I love the design of bh work great for me on all surfaces.... I'm not in sand idk bout that but otherwise

Yeah, @Bad_bowtie and I were talking about the big horn 2.0’s the other day and both said if they’d make them in 8 ply we’d buy them. I’ve taken my P1K5D places in turf mode that I needed 4wd in the 700. It makes no sense!

That's awesome! So you can tell a big diff in the entire machine? That's how I was on tires disgusted about 4ply on a sxs but like the design. I believe I bought that one for $90 or so about $30 cheaper than bh

No comparison, I’ve got nothing but respect for the 700. Dependable, tough as nails and damn near bulletproof but it ain’t a 1000!

That's kinda what I thought when switched with a buddy for afew .miles. needed more gears power and less noise lol

Felt sorry for someone on here had a thread saying they would love there 700 if it had 3 seats in front power steering turf mode. more gears and something else and I was like poor guy spent not much less than me I assume and I have all that factory.. but maybe he dont have a payment that I have so he would be a smarter man lol
