What do you haul your SxS with?

Well, this is my new tow rig. 2-3 mpg around town, 5 on the highway. Cat C12 aftercooled turbo diesel 505 hp, 1500 ft/lbs of torque at 1200 rpm, Allison 7 speed automatic, fully independent suspension, all axles lock via air lockers if needed, Central Tire Inflation System to control tire pressure for when the going gets rough, and a gun turret to clear those pesky Democrat roadblocks 💀💀💀. Going to have to install a drop hitch to pull my trailer. Notice the AR gun mounts on the interior passenger door. Waiting on delivery now.

After owning my little 2007 Chevy Colorado Xtreme for 14 years, and putting over 215k miles on it with virtually zero maintenance, I broke down and ordered a new truck. Like everything else in this country, truck prices are insane and only projected to get worse given rising steel prices.

So, I put down a deposit this morning on a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, 6sp, in Sarge Green (gotta match the p52...). This was looooong overdue.

I can't wait for it to get here. Hopefully it shows up before PTO21.

New and used trucks are out of my price range so I keep 2 old turds in case one needs work.

2007 Ram 3500 Mega cab with 5.9 cummins is bone stock and just about 250k miles. Handles this setup quite nice, rock solid. Sometimes we give it a break and just load the 700 onto 14' camper frame trailer, much lighter and mpg goes from 10 to about 14.




Option B is our trusty 98 Ram 2500, 12 Valve with 305k miles. Long bed so no ramps required. Has some work done to it, pulls better than the 07 and gets 14-17 while pulling the sxs and trailer, a solid 20 empty. Small cab is cozy but gets old!

Upgraded my trailer today. 2022 charcoal gray Homesteader Intrepid 7 x 16 with 7 foot interior height and 80" door height. Just a little tight getting thru the SxS door once loaded but thats OK, I could stand to lose a few pounds (OK, a bunch of pounds).🤣 I've been looking for a used one for a few years but could not find a tall one. Gave up and bought new.

Added a dump trailer to my inventor. Use it primarily to haul the skid steer but I’ll use it for the Pioneer when bring the cultipacker or other larger items that won’t fit easily on the 12’ utility trailer

My 2017 Honda Ridgeline does a fine job of getting my gear out to the ranch. The trailer is a Loadtrail that hauls the 2014 Pioneer 700-4 or the 2 Honda ATVs.
Im a Honda person, cars, trucks generators and play toys. If Honda made a chainsaw id dang sure own one.

I am still waiting for my P 1000-5 to come in, but I will tow it with my 2020 Silverado with 3.0 Duramax. Like Outfitter, I'm a Honda guy too. We currently have a Honda Pilot, and before that a CR-V, and before that numerous Accords.

Finally after a long wait my 2021 F150 Lariat 4x4 came in, long bed, max tow package (#13,900 rated )

Had it less than 48 hrs, but completely satisfied at this point.
