Finally got around to adjusting my steering wheel so it’s not pointing at 2 pm when going straight. Popped the cover off and saw the brake nut was on the threaded column just enough to barely engage the nylon. Was just about off. Probably would have if the center cap wasn’t there. So with the nut barely on, there was about one inch of play if you pulled up on the wheel.

I understand this is supposed to be a dealer checked item for quality control. Like someone else posted, the dealer sales person drove it up on my trailer so I didn’t notice the issue until 2 days later. This dealer was one of those high volume places with much lower prices than any of my local dealers. Now I know why.

Other than that issue I am so glad I bought the 1000-5 deluxe.
Next are full skids, winch, windshield, and rear view mirrors.

My wheel is pointed screwy also. How do you get that cover off the center of the steering wheel? I've looked and poked but didn't want to break something not knowing how it was attached.
Thanks

If I recall correctly, the center cap just pops out with a flat blade screwdriver.

Extended the gastank, sgas tank, shift box, and rear diff vents. I'm not snorkeling mine or intending to use it as a boat so I left the fan and front diff where they were.

Also installed the OEM winch. Next will be the dual battery and isolator which will take a little planning as I'm not moving the prefilter and box under the hood.

Swapped out my worn base tires with deluxe new take offs.

Went and promptly determined new limits of tires.😂

On deck are trail Armor skid plates and door panels.

Probably wait on the skid plates till snow melts due to my snow plow mount.
