What are the best cleaning agents for your Pioneers?

SC1 here too.

My plastics colors seem dull and I noticed someone using WD-40 earlier. Does that help keep it shiny without damaging stuff? I'm wondering what's safe to use on my P5. My rear panel seems cloudy and pressure washing it doesn't seem to help I was wondering if any of y'all had any tricks to keeping it clear and or what's a safe vs harmful chemical cleaner I can use without damaging the clear window vinyl(?) and other materials on my Pioneer? Thanks.

Hi 100Acre. I use SC1 . It’s what Honda uses if a bike has a scratch and they want to hide it. I had a 1991 Kawasaki atv and when I sold it I did it with SC1 and it looked new. You’ll love it. Haha. We are just home from Cape Breton and I’ll be washing it tomorrow.

For your rear plastic window I use novus#1 plastic clean and shine it repell dust and gives you a nice shine you can also use it on your windshield. Works great

I use Novus on the windshield and on the clear plastic rear panels. And I use SC1 on the body and frame.

303 Aerospace Protectorant for me... It makes plastics and rubbers like new: plastic panels etc.. Even old tires look like NEW..

303 is top notch stuff , originally developed for NASA , been using it for bout 20 yrs , hard to find sometimes . Napa cares it and most boat shops .
Meguiar’s clear plastic detailer work great on all clear plastics you need to see thru.

I want to find a good detailer like SC1 that does not attract the dust. SC1 makes the Honda look great but first trip down even a slightly dusty road and it is covered it seems

Ok while not that dirty


First wet down then spray 75/25 Super clean and water followed up by Mr Pink through a foam canon...

this gets the dirt off I was running short on time and wanting to try something else besides SC1 _ as I mention above I would like to find something that the dust does not just stick right to. So here is the after with out any shine product



Mostly removing the dirt prior to shine just shows the adventures... I never tried WD40 before and I actually have some 303 product - so I may do a half and half and see which holds dust more.

Nah. They wash the tail lights first, so nobody runs into them if they break down.

It's not if- - it's when they break down.
