Heavy rain expected for us tomorrow. And then Franklyn is aiming right at us for Wednesday as a cat 2. Hopefully it turns out to sea. Won't be good.

We had an unexpected blow up thunderstorm this evening. Sun was shining and absolutely nothing forcasted
except extreme temps. We were supposed to get rain tomorrow and Sunday with a temperature drop. early evening the wind picked up, it got dark and you could har thunder in the distance. 40 minutes later it started to cool off, get darker and unleashed a torrential downpour. Of corse I had roofers at a property I own and they got it stripped and blacked in before the rain. Called the tenant who was out for the evening and not too worried. Nice start to the weekend.

I also thought the same about the mini skirt version some have hose clamped directly to the intake hole as prefilter. Don't want a snorkel. JMO I don't want a snorkel either.

Rained all day yesterday. Thunderstorms today. Then sunny for a couple days. Tuesday night we're getting Franklyn going by but dumping a few inches of rain on Tuesday night and Wednesday. We've had a lot of rain this summer. Farmers are getting 3 cuts of hay this year. Lots of mud at the camp.

107 yesterday. Only 78 @ 10 this morning for a welcome change.
107, holy crap. I'm cooking at 95. It's 67 here today. Cloudy. Going to 75 tomorrow and sunny. We've had more rainy days this summer than sunny ones. Ground is wet. If we do get a hurricane this year, going to be a lot of up rooted trees. Hope not. They can all go by out to sea.

of Americans from down south traveling to Cape Breton this year. Talked to a few, and they love the cooler temperatures, even at 90 or 95. 😊 They would love the temperatures today. Probably find it cool.

Extreme drought here and we had a big stretch of days well over 100. We have been battling grass fires daily. We have a short reprieve as it is 78 currently. Im spraying the noxious weeds with the SxS currently. Back over 100 in a few days. This pic has the thermometer on the east side of the house under the deck while the sun is on the west side.
Brother, I wish I could send you the rain we're going to get from Franklin. I don't want the 107 but would like a nice few weeks of sun instead of rain every second day.

My pond is one that is in better shape as it is deep. My neighbor has been hauling water for cattle for a couple months.
