P1000 Tread Direction?

Hello,
I will admit I am new to this so be nice!

I just bought a set of ITP Mudlite XTR's for my 1000. The dealer put the tires on and the tread on the front tires goes in the opposite direction of the tread on the rear tires. Is that correct?

Tread should point in same direction that rear tires do. Is it possible you need to swap sides on front? If rear tires on are headed in right direction?

Old Indian trick so they cant figure out what direction you are going in.

Wow, never even thought of that. I will try it. I think that would solve it.

Here is a pic of the rear tire. Am I correct in thinking this is pointing in the wrong direction?

Yes they are facing the wrong direction.

I need to be clear. This was my mistake, not theirs. They put them on the rims, I put them on the machine. I just didn't pay attention to the tread direction.

Yes that is wrong. If you could draw an arrow on tread of tire. Which would point forward. That is direction they should rotate.

Or, you could leave them as they are and use your machine to reverse tow your buddies when they get stuck!

I just put on a set of 28-10-14 sti outback max on I'm hoping to be able to run them backwards and use them in the soft river sand by our house. My tsl swampers would get us in trouble with soft sand.
