Send a pic to where you got it from and ask for a replacement, say this was free quality control testing and you would be happy to advertise for them. LOL Glad you made it back OK though. Good pics
Thanks for the info LP!!His name is Shaun 606-793-4479. He is a really nice guy. I ordered a skid plate for mine and also one for my buddy's 1000 Turbo 4 seater RZR. I told another friend about it and he ordered a skid as well Lol. Quality stuff at a really good price. I plan on ordering some back A arms guards after seeing how quality this stuff is.
Not sure what you mean Fuzzy about a crease. And the gaurd moves with the suspension???Do you think it is possible that the front suspension articulation would cause the bent stopper to get trapped under the axle? It looks like when the suspension dropped back down, the axle put a crease in it.

My OEM accessories a arm guard did the same thing, not as bad, it almost cut my boot. With in my first 30 minute ride, glad I got out and looked. Now I run the full Trail Armor package, 1/2 inch, rather break from impact than bend something and damage another component.STOPPER !!! Well, it sacrificed it's life, but it did its job!!! The first pic is what it looked like when I noticed it out on the trail, the second pic is what it looked like when I was loading it back on the truck at the end of the ride. I remember the stob I hit that caused the initial damage, but I don't know what pushed it on further underneath the axle. Anyway, I see no damage to any components.

My skid came in today and it is awesome. I was able to get most of it put on tonight. I'll show pictures tomorrow. The guy guarantees it for 5yrs.Thanks for the info LP!!
You go with S&S?My skid came in today and it is awesome. I was able to get most of it put on tonight. I'll show pictures tomorrow. The guy guarantees it for 5yrs.
Ah, now that makes sense!!!Since you didn't feel the 2nd hit, thinking that somehow between turning and going up/down on the suspension, that the geometry was just right to trap it below the axle.
I'm putting SSS skids and will get either that or what LP told me about for Stick Stoppers.Monte, you replacing guards and putting a skid on it?
I'll have a look at that too!My OEM accessories a arm guard did the same thing, not as bad, it almost cut my boot. With in my first 30 minute ride, glad I got out and looked. Now I run the full Trail Armor package, 1/2 inch, rather break from impact than bend something and damage another component.
Very cool, I'll be watching for that, thanks LP.My skid came in today and it is awesome. I was able to get most of it put on tonight. I'll show pictures tomorrow. The guy guarantees it for 5yrs.
I think I remember that. A bullet proof vest only works if the bullet hits the vest.I got the Ricochet stick stoppers... while they are THICK, I've still managed to put a hole in a boot since installing them. Lucky me.
Yep. Bought the boot fix from All Balls... haven't gotten around to disassembling the axle. Kinda scared to.I think I remember that. A bullet proof vest only works if the bullet hits the vest.
Just a heads up.. I've been researching trying to decide what plate and stoppers I'm going to add and the best price for quality I've found is S&S fabrication. Aluminum front and rear stick stoppers, with full belly skid plate and everything poweder coated your choice of color, shipped for $750.. and that's on the 1000 so a 500 should be cheaper. Oh.. and 5 year warranty. That may not be the route you're looking to go but just a heads up incase. It's what Delton has on his rig.I'm putting SSS skids and will get either that or what LP told me about for Stick Stoppers.
Yep I got S&S, the guy makes them out of his shop in KY. I already had UHMW front A Arm guards but after seeing the S&S skid I wish I would've found them sooner!Just a heads up.. holy smokes, 5 years is saying something, did I miss what they are made out of?My skid came in today and it is awesome. I was able to get most of it put on tonight. I'll show pictures tomorrow. The guy guarantees it for 5yrs.
yup, the guards just lessen the chances, but the chance is still there.I think I remember that. A bullet proof vest only works if the bullet hits the vest.
