On the rig they measure 27. So I lost a little more. Maybe I should have gone with 30 inch Blackwaters for a 28 lol. Or the Roctane XD

With 18 lbs of pressure in them they measure 28 on the dot
That's why Joey went with Roctanes I think. They are true to their size. I can live with 28".

I just rode around a little on our place and then on the highway. A little bumpy on the asphalt. Measure 27.5 now. So maybe after riding a few more times they will grow a little more

FYI, when using 8 ply tires, I like the pressure of about 6 to 7 psi for the pioneer 1000.

I did inflate them to 10 on my last ride because I had chainsaw, fuel can, spare tire, etc. in the back. They did ok. Running that lower pressure should help smooth out the ride for you

I like it a lot! It keeps the dust down in the cab with the front windshield. Also is great when I take my dog for water work and he gets in the back and shakes off it doesn't get all over me. Right now I need to wash my rig and take a wet cloth and wipe it down to get all the junk off it Soni can see better. It's really easy to put on too

You think 6-7 PSI is safe even without beadlocks? I have STI Outback MAX which are hard as hell and 8 ply. Running them on stock wheels as well. I think I have around 7-8 PSI in them now, but want to see if I could go lower.

I ran 4 to 5 PSI on my 700 with 8 ply Evo's and never had a problem.

Ask @Hondasxs, he rode up some very rough rocky trails with me in Alabama when I had 4 1/2 psi the tires and they held up great. I only use that low of a pressure when I know that I'm going to be driving slow and I want a comfortable ride and good traction.

I'm sure you could. It's going to be a few weeks before I get these XS on the trails. I'm riding this weekend in Batesville going down gravel roads mostly and I'm going to run my truck tires.

Here is a video of Trail 30 in Talledega. Videos never do it justice, but it was very steep and several locations where you only have three tires on the ground sometimes two. We saw a rzr out on the trail that told us not to go try trail 30 because it was too rough.

Gotcha, thanks guys. I'll prolly just keep them at 7psi for all around use. I think these things could roll with 0 psi if I had beadlocks.

While riding in Talledega, I broke one of the A-arms off the frame of my 700. So did @Hondasxs. The trails were rough enough to cause suspension failures but we never lost a tire

The pioneer 1000 is 400 pounds heavier than the 700. I have not gone lower than six PSI on the 1000 yet.

I had 10 in those Evos and they had a surprisingly smooth ride on pavement. I was expecting a harsh ride.

Went to Sandtown Ranch today around some back roads with the group that showed up.

We had 2 Rzrs 2 rangers 1 Pioneer and 1 Artic cat. 6 4 wheelers and 1 motorcycle.

Over all we traveled about 70 miles. I did it all on my truck tires and when we first left we went down a trail to a river and it was pretty steep in my book. I wish I would have got a picture of it. It was straight rock with water running down it. I didn't think I would make it, but the ol P1K did it's thing and made it up. I still need to work as t going slow over big bumps, I tend to bounce and punch the throttle which keeps the cycle going lol

Here's some pictures from the ride:
