Well my wife and I spent some time in the Barbie Jeep this weekend and found out, she can not put her foot on the floor while using the throttle. Her heel is floating in the air while her toes are on the pedal, so this caused the lurch, lurch, lurch thing. I went straight to the first quick option, putting the board on the floor. Here are pics, it's a 2x10, 16 inches long with a 4 inch by 4 inch corner cut out. I covered the bottom side with a piece of rubber trunk liner so it's non slip. I used it to make sure there were no interference issues with the pedals, truth is I like it too. It does what the throttle max does, changes the angle of your ankle while on the gas. I am going to paint it black, but here it is for now.
