The MK23 didn't have a winch but the MK23 had a winch mounted along the frame under the cargo bed that could pull from the front or rear.

MTVRs are really cool trucks. They are sprung for 14 tons of payload on road or 7 tons off-road but still ride pretty good empty. That truck looks pretty clean

I'm going to build a bumper and install a hydraulic winch if I get it.

Struggle is that it's only 34,000 lbs but it's too tall for a low deck flat bed. You'll likely be on a drop deck with ramps or an RGN. TTI trucking out of Fond Du Lac, Wi hauls a lot of the new ones and might be looking for a load coming east.

Yeah, but sure that MK23 was not cheap. Kinda like folk that have private jets ....... if they can afford the plane, they don't worry about the cost of fuel ..... lol
It'll be interesting to see if it has never had a PMCS or if the USMC did it just before they decided to auction it.

Don't know what that is, but I'm buying it from a private owner who has done a complete service on it. He is selling it to fund replacing a blown motor in his M1070 HET. He pulled the HET home with the MK23. I spoke with a retired CAT mechanic today and he said the motor in the MK23 is the most bullet proof motor CAT has ever built.

Agreed the C12 is nearly bullet proof. While the 425hp and 1550lbft may not be "high" performance, the truck will still run nearly indefinitely at peak power at 120°F and almost no commercial truck will do that
