May be better/worse now, but as of 10/17 I bought 2018 1000-5 deluxe at Brookhaven Honda, MS for $14,650 OTD. High volume dealer, best price.

Ohh , my wife reminded me she put the extended warranty for 3 years added to the cost. She is very careful with all new purchases, has saved us a boat load of money in the long run though!

Just picked up a P1K5 LImited Edition for $19,500 OTD (Base price, tax, title, reg, and nominal doc prep fee included in that number). I’m sure there was a little meat left on the bone but the dealer was very fair and straightforward. I visited 4 dealers and this was by far the lowest price. Im sure I could have gone back and forth and played them off each other but I’m getting too old for that crap! This dealer was a pleasure to deal with. I thought about doing an out of state deal to avoid the tax but in the end I’d rather pay $1kish in order to get it now and not have to hassle with a shipper etc.

I thought about buying a deluxe to save a few grand and have the traditional locking front diff, but to be honest I’m past the point of pride and I’m sure the i4WD can do a much better job at the selection than I can. I’m ok admitting that!

Anyways, look forward to contributing here it seems like a good group and lots of awesome info!

2018 P1k5 purchased 1/29/2018, hard roof, 4500 lb winch, split windshield and rear view mirror all installed OTD 18K. Had 300 mile trip but negotiated from distance with 4 dealers for 2 days via email and phone.
