Sounds great. We don’t know what distance we’ll cover on side trails, but I’m sure I’m not going to use my entire 16.5 gallons of reserves…..should be able to help if anyone’s running close….👍
This is great! I love seeing people help each other on things like this. Makes for a better safer ride when you aren't constantly worrying about everything.

Still super jealous that I have a conflict for this event. Would have got me back to places I hold dear to my heart.

Next year I will have far less commitments to work around.

Rob
Tell the conflict that you have a conflict with its timing (the ride) and join us. 😄

The wife and I have been locked down quarantined with Covid... Dr. Says we will be free of any contagious effects . Thank goodness.. let's get this ride going.

We’ll play that by ear, but there will be several Coleman stoves along as well

Would everyone want to get together for a group meal Saturday night?
Ted Nelson’s steak house is highly recommended, may be considered pricy to some????

The Stone House has an extensive menu and is moderately priced.

Maybe we’ll get some feed back soon. Need to get reservations in ASAP as due to covid surge, seating is at 50% again…..

Sorry, we will be at our cabin on Saturday. Driving to Montrose Sunday morning. Thanks. If anyone needs anything let us know. We will be in Montrose on Friday.
So you will be in Montrose Friday, or Sunday?
At any rate, I guess we’ll see you at the trailhead noonish Sunday?

Right. Have to pick up nephew at airport Friday, go to HomeDepot, etc. Will drive to trailhead Sunday morning.
The established rendezvous time at the trailhead Sunday is 11:00 AM. With an intent to be under way by noon.

I will be towing my toy hauler, does anyone think it would be a problem to camp at the trailhead?
Also will I replied to Eddie about 50 being a good road I forgot to mention Monarch Pass at 11,000 ft. Which is at little high for us flatlanders, there are truck lanes for slower vehicles going but you may want to stay there for the down grade. If your towing any thing heavy like a camper be carful on the downgrade so you don’t overheat your brakes

John and all, I am intending on arriving at the trailhead Saturday afternoon with my toy hauler so I won’t be late for Sunday morning departure 😁 Since I would have to unhitch to come into town I will pass on dinner
