Talon Water pump

Hello All have not seen any one else post pics of the water pump. Started with a little bit on the trailer when I got home. No big deal. After a couple more rides. Now the shop had a 1/2 cup of coolant under it. Ordered parts as you have to replace the alternator cover as the pump is none replaceable at 350.$$ or so. Already had the seats and lower back wall out. It was straight forward 10mm and a lot of 1/4" extension put together and two wire plugs.. Had the new one to look for all the bolts. Took about an hour and 45min. to get the old one to the bench. Lot of time cleaning up coolant then finding the way to remove it from the car. It did come out through the top. Will start install today.

How many miles, if you know (is this your race buggy?) What year?

Hi it is a 2020. Had about 9000 miles before motor work then put it into race Mod with 25 race days with testing time. Mileage now is unknown. Would guess 15000. I also have a 2021 Live parts and play car, insurance total repaired. When PPEI flashed the car I gain launch Mode but only have temp on dash. Have added a real temp gauge now. I did have the fan clip come off ( really poor design) and it over heated but that was last year at the beginning of out race season. Just put all new shocks on (internal by pass).

My 2029 Talon R started to leak some coolant wetting the skid plate at around 30,000 miles. I just added a few ounces of coolant after 500 miles a few times. It quit leaking so it's easy to get happy with that. I'm over 40,000 miles now with no leakage.
