Just thought I'd throw this up on here. I watch mudpuppy videos all the time. If you haven't seen his channel, I'd suggest you check it out. He is very knowledgeable in all things Honda and if anybody should test these before we get our hands on them, it's him. He treats all his rigs like I would love to treat mine.

Really cool that the aftermarket is addressing the issues we have been complaining about since day 1. Lower low. If you were to take all the gear reductions that he mentions in the video and combine them, your Pioneer or Talon would crawl so slow that it would probably go backwards. Lol

I am interested in this product and wonder how hard the install would be.

Here is another update. Mudpuppy got a set of gears for his P1000. They are now installed, and here is a video of him trying them out. I'm here for it and keep it coming.

I recently made another post on some mods he has been doing to a p500 he picked up. Pretty cool to see him messing with stuff on these machines. His brain works a lot like mine, I just lack the funds for this mod at the present time. It is really high on the list though. I already have the tuner, so will probably have to have the tune the gears require.

The p500 thread.

@Adam490 That rock climbing is cool and all, but I'm thinking these mods would be great for a talon on some 37" ag tires in some of this Florida gumbo I have around me. Most of my rides are around 100 miles or so. This is an option for someone who doesn't want to run portals like myself. Honda doesn't make portals, so the reliability on those things are junk. All my friends run them. Most of them end up walking due to a tooth breaking etc. I'd hate to be down due to something I bolted to the most reliable machine on the market. Not to mention all the added stress on the suspension and steering components that the portals create. Huge rabbit hole of parts.

I have 33" ag tires on my talon now and there was once where I couldn't get the tires to spin, but I was buried in 4wd with suction. I just hooked up the winch. Now if I would have had either one of the reductions installed it probably would have been behind my ears. Lol
