Image Image Just found this bent steering arm when I was cleaning. How hard is it to replace myself? @joeymt33

Super easy. Buy a few so you have back up and call me.

(Delton) "I HATE light scratches too. Makes me think I left some fun on the table. So I go back out there and cover them up with deep scratches. Works every time lol."

Not bad. I've done mine already once. Cheap from Honda too. I think they are around $35.

I'm sure @CumminsPusher will want to edit this later for things I left out....

I'm writing this up because one of the carnage items for him was his iPhone. That's sucks because it had a lot of good pics and vids.

Anyway, he had a decent list of carnage. Man does he ride HARD!

Rocker tubes bent and skids hanging....
View attachment 42488

Passenger side rocker tubes mashed pretty good
View attachment 42489

Missing skid plates. The front piece and passenger wing are gone.
View attachment 42490

Fenders are scratched all over from who knows what...
View attachment 42491

Wire hanging from broken lights
View attachment 42492

Fox shocks rubbed by tires when the A-arms bent...
View attachment 42493

Knocked off the windshield wipers...
View attachment 42494

Caved in the bash plate and broke the fair lead....
View attachment 42495

A-arm guards are split...
View attachment 42496

All tires and wheels have chunks missing but never popped one...
View attachment 42497

I didn't get pics of the multiple bent tie rods or the three bent A-arms. I'm sure someone did though.

Damn that was a good time!
after riding with him several times, I'm just impressed that old Puddle Humper made it out alive at the end!lol

I think I have some RM cash I could use. Do you think they will have some?

My advice would be to adjust it a little and buy a new one and keep riding until it gets worse. Lol. I'm a procrastinator.

We tried that with @Eltobgi but they bend so much easier after the initial bend. His bend enough to break it and then the tire turned completely sideways and broke the axle. A $20 part failure ended up breaking a $200 axle!

Fair enough. I bent mine back straight and it kept bending the rest of the weekend. I was able to ride the whole weekend though.

I guess I should add that for most of the time it should be OK but last weekend, the Beast wasn't going to slow down or check up for anything!
