Sorry guys it's been a long busy week truckin. But upon further investigation when I got home last weekend there was a tiny pinhole in the boot about half way between the clamps. Talked with Jared @TexasToughCustoms and he said that with his lift and the extended axles that there is no need to run steering stops. I'll be home tomorrow to install the new axle and will stroke it both ways as previously recommended (no pun intended) and see what happens. The axle degrees are not bad at all. Maybe even less angle that stock. I mean it only makes sense, if you go up 4 1/2 to 5 inches at the same time you moved to steering knuckle out 5 inches it doesn't change a thing as far as the angle goes. Obviously you put the other angle in there by moving it forward but that doesn't make it an extreme angle. So we'll see. Will be testing it out this weekend. Having a ride with alot of friends in memory of my best friend, who the good lord decided it was time to ride, fish, and watch dirt track racing from a much higher place. 48 years old and riding his wheeler to the river July 3rd when God called him home. So about to take the first ride without him I think ever since 2001-02. Gonna be the hardest ride ever, but I know that is what my brother from another would have wanted us to do for him.

2020 Honda Pioneer 1000-3 with a TTC 3" lift. A few months ago, I upgraded the fronts from Rhino 1.0 to Rhino 2.0 axels and this turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare. Within a few days of riding on new axels, I noticed a small hole on the second rib of the outer boot (passenger side) and of course grease everywhere. So I pulled the axel, ordered a replacement boot, re-installed the joint and took a 5 minute trip down the road. Guess what, another hole in the boot I had just replaced. No sharp turns either. At this point I was miffed because no suspension or configuration had changed other than the upgrade of the axel. I checked for rubbing or misplaced cotter pins, but everything seemed fine. At this point, my patience was running thin and I fired off an email to Jared at TTC to see if he might be able to help. He responded very promptly and told me others had been having similar issues. At Jared's recommendation, I reached out to Cobra Axels and purchased a softer rubber boot that would work with a Rhino 2.0 axel. Well, after the third tear down, I have been driving for a month on the trails with no issues. The Rhino 2.0 boots seem to use a hard plastic and do not seem to flex, stretch or deform as well as the Rhino 1.0 and then eventually "pinch" creating the hole. The drivers side is still in-tact but is also showing signs of poor deformation. I will replace this when it fails. Hopefully this post is helpful to others experiencing this problem. I have replaced both outer front boots on my 2.0s. they seem to get pin holes and sling grease

This year I've gone to Cobra Axles. So far, so good. They are looking much more reliable.
