P1000 soultion for short vertically challanged driver?

My Wife (5'2") likes it a lot better so far but we have not really gotten a change to drive it much since we got it the other week. I was a little concerned about the drag on the floor over the rough surface but it does not appear to be an issue.

I've been thinking about a heel ledge, rest your heel in-between heel ledge and gas petal for leverage?
