Can you post pics and may be ask him how much he would ask for them?
Went and saw him last night. He said he could do it. It will cost around $300, but that could change depending how it goes. He's a really nice guy and I've seen his work. I'm not going to do anything right away, money's a bit tight right now. I will definitely post info whenever I get around to having the doors made.

How good they fit depends somewhat on who installs them, as there is a fair amount of adjustment.

Very true.. but it did not take the kind of work I figured it would from what everyone was saying.

I don't believe he has ever worked on a P500. This guy mainly does those vinyl boat covers. It's a nice heavy material that doesn't tear. He used snaps when he did my friends cab. He used a clear vinyl material for the windshield and windows and I really like it. It doesn't scratch like my windshield and it is optically better than my windshield. If It gets torn, he can just sew in a new section. I will know more about this once i actually show him my machine and hear what he wants to do.

I just purchased the Honda hard coat windshield and back panel for now. I will see if I need doors after trying this setup in the cold. Thanks everyone for your help!!!!

Aha, I see, nice. Does this material retain heat well and sound isolation, or its mainly works as good wind and rain protection?
I have never liked soft cabs at all. I would not even be considering this type of soft doors, but my friend's cab on his 700 is really nice. It definitely holds in some heat. Sound insulation is noticeable, but I can't imagine that it's as good as a real cab. This vinyl material is definitely superior to the nylon/canvas that is typically used.

Its my first season with tracks and now that we have some snow, I’m learning all sorts of things! The tracks work well if set up properly. BUT, after 1/2 an hour of driving in one foot of snow, I am buried...inside the cab! Well, at least an inch of snow on my left leg. I guess side door panels are a must. Man, I have to stop telling my wife, “Honest, this is the last thing I need to buy for it!” Any advice on after market vs Honda? Thanks!

Until Honda crimps or recesses their roll cage like Polaris and can am have your never going to be able to achieve anything close to an “automotive” seal with the doors/cab.
