Cooler today. Hail was hard on the face. Maybe time for 1 of those SATV windshields.

Out riding with some of the kids from work.
At Wayne National Forest, 50” trail system.
Just a day ride for me but some of the guys are ‘camping’.

I haven’t cleaned my p500 since last week at the Takeover.
Looks like I’ve really hit the trails.

Went to visit a friend for a ride this weekend about 3 hrs North of me in Clearwater area.

Only one guy in a 20 mile radius this weekend that was brave enough to take the 101° temps.

Saturday early evening steak night.

And Sunday morning steak breakfast.

It wasn't too bad chasing rabbits when the sun started to go behind the mountains. But with a low of 71° at night it made for a wonderful night sleeping outside on the cot.

East Verde River is very low, we could really use some rain.

Beautiful area. You’re very lucky. This week the State of Arizona pretty much shut down all State Trust Land to off road activity due to extreme fire risk.

Yes I’ve been following that. We are breaking heat records here this week and are concerned. We were shut down couple years back. Hoping for rain for all of us.

I kept waiting and waiting for this place to open when I lived in Laurenceburg. Seems like they couldn't all get together and get it done...

Then, of course, I was literally in the moving truck on my way back to AZ when I got a FB notification that they had set an opening date.
