From what videos I have watched, the Honda OEM one seals well along the OEM roof line. However, I do not have one personally. Maybe someone who does can weigh in. The generation 2 is supposed to have better sealing all around and larger viewing glass.

It seals good at the top, not so good on the bottom ,with tracks snow will sift into the cab under the windshield
