Has anyone tried the STU Desert Masters in the sand?

Yes I had them on a sand rail several years ago. They work good but not great. On a 10 scale I would rate them a solid 6 compared to a 10 for regular paddles. I used them a Dumont Dunes because there is quite a bit of rocks and hard packed that you run thru there. Standard paddles get easily chunked where Desert Masters have much more durable paddles and no chunking.

This tire set up works as good as running paddles.
