Didn't bail on this, I cut out the base plate but my plasma table cut it at like an 80% scale so I gotta sit there and figure that out but I have a house to build 🙄

Finally got around to this. All welded up, just needs paint. Tig welded stainless socket head screws to the base,made some clamp plates with 1/4" round bar to attach to the box and 1/2" round for a pivot point.

And finished product. Came out alright for a proto. Will need to add some rubber under the cooler to tighten up the connection between the two boxes.
