Installed the 'Rugged Power Steering Kit' from side by side stuff about a year after I got the machine. Two years with no issues so far, and definitely rank it as a must have mod- for me anyways. I didn't use the supplied connectors either. I used all marine grade heatshrink stuff, and completely coated any exposed ring terminals etc. with liquid neoprene to seal everything up.
