Pioneer 1000 installation and cleaning instructions attached. This is to allow potential customers the opportunity to see installation requirements before purchasing. Looks more simple than talon.

Quick question, what is the metal with the screw for?

According to the instructions I've seen, it's for retaining one end of the filter to the airbox. I've yet to see one of these in person so I can't help you much beyond these instructions.

What that is is a clamp that replaces the set screw in the factory filter to hold it in place. Install is simple but takes a little time tons of screws to loosen.

It’s probably got as many screws as the talon filters!!
