Pioneer 1000-3 and 1000-5 hybrid

I was thinking it would be cool if I could get the back half of the roll bar for the 1000-5 and mount it to my 1000-3 and get the Honda roof for it my stuff would not get soaked if it rains while riding.. There’s bolt holes on the top back of my 2022 and bolt holes on the frame. Just a thought what do you guys think? Didn’t need the 1000-5 as it’s just me and my wife and they had this one on the showroom floor. So I didn’t have to be on a 8-12 week wait.

I would think so, but check frame part numbers first

The bed is too wide to accept the 5 seat rear cage. You would have to swap beds to make it work.

Are the front ROPs different as well? I had to go look at Rooster to see where the back ROP's connect. Frame and front ROPs? Got to check this out at the TO.

Somewhere in the vortex of this forum there's a cpl pics (don't remember the member's name) of a P1K5 where he cut the "c" pillars off his ROPs. It supported the OEM roof just fine. He did add some other bars for aesthetics, mentioned it wasn't really necessary. Soooooo.....you could spend the $$ for a rear section and choose off the C pillars and bolt it right up to your front ROPs and slap a OEM roof on there 👍 could probably sell your P1K3 roof and recoup some of your expens.

Can't modify the cage to fit?

I'm sure you could but then the rear cage would be the widest part of your machine. I cant modify anything but junk, so don't take my word for it.
