exactly what i was thinking like buying a jeep but really want a vette lol the 1 thing i with the 1k had was a center arm rest or maybe a flip down Center seat/arm rest like front bench seat trucksThat's like buying a RZR for farm use. The farmer would hate the seats and suspension. It would be hard to get in and out of and couldn't carry a heavy load.
People need to do more research before buying. The pioneer doesn't compete in that class.
wow second local guy to trade in his 1k for a rzr and both said the same thing they loved the power but hated the ride (seats and suspension) now ive never drove one but have followed these guys and they take off like crazy!!!!! are the stock shocks really that bad( like stock p5)???
actually the guy who was going to drop his 1k off on sat just traded in for 900s with walkers i mean its a gorgeous machine but ehhh lolI'd say if they were going to a RZR900 the 1K has it beat with a good set of shocks, mainly because it is now a true dual purpose machine.
But the RZR1000 or turbo has WAY more suspension travel, Honda is going to have to release a sport to compete in that area.

I lead the pack with my 700 vs 900 Rzrs. They drug on everything. Cage makes COG look much higher than it is. I drove it hard, and I realized I needed shocks. I'm putting something on my 1000. They are NOT a sport, but they are the best for what I want/need. Trail riding with family, work around the house, play when I want.
I couldnt get 5 people in anything but a Polaris crewbus.
If you need/want a sport by all means get a sport. I need a jack of all trades.

here the main trail we have are PowerLines with branches of tight trails coming off followed by stretches of roads and when we hit those lol ( im the friend you need to out run getting chased by a bear) but i am pushing for the 1k3 le lolFunny part is in the stuff we ride in, the p1k will go toe to toe with a rzr any day of the week lol
