Here are my dimensions. My front plate is welded to the angled portion of the side plates and the 1/4-20 fasteners bolt through the slots in the factory pedal mount bracket so no modification or drilling is needed in the machine.

I used 1/8" plate for the first 2 but if I was going to mass produce them I'd like to make them out of 12 or 14 gauge and cut the profile out of 1 piece to avoid the need to weld and make a cleaner part. I maybe be able to cut a few this weekend.

I don't have an issue with it. I think it's a cool idea. I'm not in a position to make a couple or a dozen or worse yet a hundred. I'm really just hear to help people out and enjoy the environment to generate ideas like this. I also think it's easier and safer than line lock so that's good for all of us

I'm with you, help out the members and maybe help out the site that has helped us all so much! After I get one built and installed on my rig I'll PM you my # and we can discuss our options.

I really think cutting it out of a sheet and making 2 bends would be easier for multiple pieces. If you did a CAD layout the front piece mates bottom/ longside and the hole is offset to the passenger side of the machine. It's worth noting these dims were pulled off the drawing which is a trace of the actual parts not the part dims themselves

Fyi the 9/16 hole is not centered and it was missing dims above so I added another photo here

This edge is straight or curved? And the 3.313 length is the top of the bracket when installed?

If anyone is interested, I used a bracket that doesn't require welding. Just drill 2 small holes in stock brake bracket.

You will have to drill 5/8" hole in bracket for the lever. Be careful ordering. There are literally dozens of variations of these levers out there.

Just reread all of this thread and noticed some discrepancies along the way. The parking lock for these is not just a plate. It's located in sub-tranny and closely resembles parking pawl in GM 700r4 trans. Parking on a hill then slamming shifter out of park can do some serious damage.

I think what Delton has is probably overkill but I wanted to avoid drilling holes around the brake pedal and I'm not sure I'd want the bending moment of applying the brake pedal at full force to be applied to 2 button head cap screws. It does look less complicated though

I have tons of 5x2 1/8w tubing offcuts. Think they will work? I didn't see the width dimension on the drawing.

edit, nope, need 2.5. bummer

No such thing as overkill when it comes to brakes. These can be made in less than 10 mins. I'd trust those 12.2 m6 bolts (stronger than grade 8) a helluva lot more than I would most people's welding lol.

The long side is the bottom. The edge was radiused on my piece parts but the long side to angled portion was welded so it doesn't need the radius

I was missing the hole dimensions in the first photo. The front plate is 2.5" wide so the gap between the 2 side plates is 2.5" which is the width of the brake pedal bracket.

This is the toggle clamp. You will also need a rubber bumper but I had a pile of them so I don't have a link. The bumper is 1/2" diameter and 1/2" thick with a 3/16 hole and washer that I bored out to fit a screw for the toggle end

Thanks for the reply. So is the 1.18” to the 9/16 hole measured from the left side of the bracket when mounted on the machine? I’d hate to build the thing with the hole offset the wrong way. We’re pretty slow at work right now so I might actually build the bracket tomorrow. Thanks again.
