P700 P700-4 fabric door installation

Howdy folks! Just picked up a 2017 P700-4 today and it came with OEM upper doors but they were not installed. Something doesn’t seem to fit correctly and the door hits the ROPS “wing” about 1-1/2” before the lower door can fully close and latch. I’m a pretty handy guy but I just can’t figure out what might be wrong. I stripped off the skin and tried mounting just the frame with no luck. Here are some pics attached. I’d appreciate any insight folks here might offer. Thanks in advance!

Kind of looks like an ooops on hondas part. I have 2015 and I have the same doors and they close inside and flush with the rops. Don't see how they would work with that wing thingy. Are the doors listed to fit a '17 model?

I’m convinced the previous owner never used these doors but it looks like he tried installing them. After more research, the part number on the door (0SR90-HL3-211A) is for the 2014-2015 and not for the 2017. I ended up frustrated and the “wings” disappeared from the ROPS. Everything fits now!

Not for the same reason but i cut that rib bar out of mine and flipped it over, much more comfortable to ride and getting in and out it doesn't get you anymore

Thanks for the replies folks. The wings or rib bars have been deleted for now. If I feel like they are more important than the doors, I'll have them welded back in.
