P500 P500 display connector

Can someone please tell me the trick to disconnecting the display connector? Its really making me feel incompetent.

Squeeze the tabs together and pull .

Squirt it with a little wd40 or something. Let sit a few.
Then push here and wiggle apart.
Make sure there is no mud stopping the clip from rising when pushed.

Thanks Huck. I got a short and wiggling the wires trggers the display to go crazy wiggle again and it goes normal or off. Driving me nuts
