So I'm not that familiar with rear load leveling shocks on the P1k5. While washing down my rig I noticed about a 2" tear in my rear passanger side shock boot. Should I be worried? I ride a lot in sand/muddy areas and wouldnt want this to cause any issues to the shock. Any thoughts is appreciated, thanks!

The cover prevent dirt from entering near the piston. By being torn it increases the 'likelyhood' of premature wear and leakage, but not a sure thing. Most shock don't have the cover anyway.

Seems to be a common issue with the shields Honda added. My stock shocks were fine but I had 4 rear fox shocks that destroyed that cover. If rather not have it

Is that the stock shock? If it is wrap a dollar around it and throw it away, that way you can say you threw something away! The stock shocks are junk! I would just run it the way it is, if your not ready to upgrade and if the seal blows out, upgrade.
