i don't think there is any better than the new Tough Country - the downside may be the cost.. extremely well made, maximum protection, and winch mounted in an accessible location.

I went to their website but couldn't find one for the P1k but the one for the Polaris came with the bumper and a rape kit. $649.00!!!!! Ouch.

Mine was $749 shipped and I'm very happy with it. Put it in a bind over the weekend with the winch trying to pull me out of a hole and nothing bent or broke. Worth every penny

No plate behind it, I've hooked the winch to a snatch block and back to the shackle and stalled that Warn 4500. The stock bumper is tough.

They were $90, made specially for the P1000

I agree, You may want to use a plate behind those since they have a smaller surface area. Get some strong bolts for sure since it's got two instead of four.
