OVER - 2016 Spring Group Ride - Pioneer Takeover - April 8 & 9th - Royal Blue!

Still haven't made final decision on bringing our 6yr old daughter. Any rough idea on how many are bringing their kids with them? If she has to hang out with adults the whole time she will drive wife and I crazy lol. She has ADHD which we are treating, but she still gets bored very easily. Nothing worse than a bored 6yr old lol.

Giver her a paintball gun with a 1000 paintballs and tell the guy behind is chasing you, she won't be bored, nor him for say a 1000 rounds

That's actually not a bad idea. I was cleaning out shop last week and found 3 20oz CO2 containers brand new lol. Good way to dispose of them. I converted air shifter on my dragbike to CO2 couple years ago and kept these as backup in case I had a cylinder run out. They're headed for the trash bin if I can't find a use for them lol

I'm leaning towards leaving her at grandma's. Weekend is also a 10th anniversary getaway for us. Plus she insists on riding in a rear seat which would require me to install the rear ROPS. And I hate to do that cause I'm digging how it looks with it removed lol.

The only difference between awesome and awful is one person having mechanical issues stopping the group. I've have guys with their machine out on their 1st ride pop tires off the bead from hitting rocks, punch literally a 2" hole in their sidewalls from rocks and was plugged with a 2" stick 6" long and 20 tire plugs to get back to camp. Also have had people who services their machines right before the ride had rear diff plus come out because they weren't tight and the rider behind point out he is losing oil going up the hills. All that sounds crazy but all three happened to me in a group ride with only 20 machines in the procession, this didn't include the people who got stuck in ruts picking the wrong line on a steep uphill.

The trails we are running should be more forgiving, still murphy's law is absolute. Just make sure your machine is rock solid and double check any work done before getting there to ride.

I completely understand, my 4 year old is autistic and if we don't have either 4G or wifi she loses her mind if her tablet doesn't work. She is staying with grandma.

A night ride is still planned for Friday correct? Wish I could make it Thurs, I'd like to run a few harder trails. Still haven't found the limitations of the machine yet and that kinda bugs me lol

If work keeps up like it is now, mine will still have break-in oil in it by April lol.

I have heard that there are at least 2 or 3 others going the hotel route, so we won't be alone at least. We get to have a little group ride before the group ride lol

Ok guys, i just looked at the permits page are the permits we need hunting permits? Also it looks like the 071 permit expires on 2\29\16. So do i just purchase after that date?

We were there around same time last year and didn't need hunting license. May be something new though

You have to have the trail permit OR the hunting license to ride there, The hunting license is cheaper so that's why you see it pointed out.
