My father will be bringing a grill that could cook three or 400 brats. And yes it will be there Friday night!
Ok tell me how many we will need. My treat. But your dad has to cook them. If someone has access to some good onions that will help. I'll grab buns too!

We are doing the dinner for Saturday night but we thought we'd bring some Conecuh sausage for those that stand around the fire Friday night. These brats can go in the smoker as well. Hmm, never had smoked brats. This may be good.

Id say 50 will be plenty. Like I said, we will also have some meat as well.

If all goes as planned, we will have Conecuh, chicken and brats for Friday night.

I plan on riding Friday night but I may need to take some food with me and/or pull some from the smoker when we return.

Just a thought if I get the good ones they will be raw and need to be boiled first. Or I can get the precooked ones but there not real exclusive to wi.

Give me a day to check on boiling them first. We are also bringing a large turkey fryer, we could fire that up for boiling them. I will check with my father and make sure he is still planning on bringing it.

Do you prefer the pre-cooked or raw?

Another question, I wonder how long it would take to cook the raw ones in the smoker? This could be groundbreaking....

The raw ones that are made at the local store are the best. But the usingers taste great and I believe they are precooked beer brats

You're call, I'm no where near an expert on brats.

I would say that we will have time to fully cook them in the smoker. I'll be back with you tomorrow to ask my father if he is for sure bringing the turkey fryer. If he is bringing it, we could fill it with water and boil them pretty quick.

Woohoo!
