I will never buy another steel trailer. I just spent this past week grinding off all of the powder coating and repainting this trailer. Is was powder coated when I bought it new. Turns out, it was rusted everywhere under the powder coating. I had to remove all of the powder coating. Repainted with two coats of rust preventative paint then two top coats of grey. The bed will be Rhino Lined next week. Also replaced the .040 aluminum siding and new bearings and painted the rims.
Spend the extra money and get Aluminum.
