P1000 Oil strainer / oil pan bolt torque specs?

Hey @Hondasxs I think the actual torque values are listed in the front of the manual.
Section 1.

There is a long list of special torques but I didn't see the oil pan listed there.
So then you refer to the standard torques.
Page 1-11

I'm guessing it's a 6mm flange bolt - 6mm is the dia of the threaded portion.
(sorry I didn't run out to the barn and crawl underneath to look - too busy watching Honda choke (again) at the Formula 1 GP in Austin Texas)
it will have a 8mm hex as listed above.

This torque is for a dry fastener.
If you have oil or grease on it you must reduce the torque or risk popping the head of the bolt off before reaching the torque.
So you can get out your 1/4" drive torque wrench and clean each hole with brake cleaner or do it by feel.
Of course I only recommend one of those methods.
