Sarah and I were just discussing this. Having a little trouble getting on same page with Walter. Will get something hashed out this weekend 6-20.

What I meant was that it is a very outdated map. One can now ride an OHV legally through Lake City between the two halves of the Alpine Loop.
Also, the box stating no OHV's in Silverton or Lake City has DEFINITELY changed!

Last year we were able to do the short stretch of 149 between Lake City and Lake San Cristobal. Just making sure it hasnt changed .

Lisa and I had a conversation about this today. I'd say we are now above a 50% chance that we will make it. Still checking dates and stuff. Each day we get closer, the chances are increasing!

Tent camping? Eureka townsite across from Sunnyside Mill is a free camping area but it is a long 700 drive from town for night life with the group. Not sure if there is any free camping spots around town. Red Mountain Inn has spots available, I'm sure for a nominal fee.

Where in northeast Texas do you hail from? I'm a few miles south of Paris.

I RSVP’d months ago, and was on an adder list below the regular list of attendees, along with a few others. But, I do not see us added to the list of riders going. I have made reservations in Silverton to stay.
Just want to make sure I (we) get added to going list.

I plan on being there, but have not RSVP'ed as I am not sure what's going on with the Covid-19 and my kids schools start date. I do have reservations but as of right now it will just be me and the dog.
