P700 Oetiker clamp tool

That's a pricey one. Harbor Freight has those and they are great for limited (not for use in a profit shop) use.

These are not the same and sometimes don’t adequately clamp the 7mm larger clamps on the 1000’S Those are Same or similar to the 700 tool? Just saying

Oetiker HIP2000 Compound Action Low Profile St Handle Pincer

They seem to do the trick. I bought a bunch of others on Amazon good thing you can return them for free. I think the newer model Honda dealers can buy have longer handles. You need a kungfu grip to get it but they work. There’s a guy on YouTube got a good video using these on a can am. You could probably put a couple of sockets on the ends or a couple pipe nipples to get some more leverage. But they work on the oem clips.
