P1000 OEM Roof Fitment w/ Flip Windshield

I see only two hard/poly roofs from Honda for the 2022 1000-5 (and yes, appears to be the same part # from 2016+). I believe the SATV windshield says this one specifically won't work, but both roofs from Honda look the same to me:

I'm sitting here scratching my head wondering why we listed that as a "non-fitment." That's the same roof they've always had...with the same fitment. Turns out..........we just recently added that because somebody had a hard time with the corner brackets.

I just looked at their pics and shook my head. You have to adjust this stuff. They just didn't want to adjust their roof brackets.

Easy peezy....lemon squeezie. You should be good to go.

I got the Honda roof for $702.

I love the see-through/tinted part of SATV's roof, but just think the Honda one looks more premium.

Wait until you get that "premium" 2 gal of water in your lap retained by the OEM roof and no "premium" drip rail.

That was not listed in the spec sheet as a "feature", so pretty sure mine won't come with that.

I think there are 2 different roofs that fit the 2022 models. Not sure if the (NON-fitment) part number we show is the correct one though.

Pretty sure that's the same roof that they've been selling since 2016. Unless they changed up the mounting points on the 2022 model, it should all bolt up just fine.

If they did change up the mounting points on the cage/roof, I'm sure there's a simple way around it. A lot of times the clamps on the roof are installed wrong anyway from the dealer....making for a more difficult installation.

I think it'll work fine. You may have to adjust the roof mounting brackets a bit to work with ours...and maybe add a shim here or there....but everything else should go together fine. I know our windshield will bolt right up to the cage. You may just have to massage it into place with the roof brackets on that 2022.

I have a 2022 1000-3, Honda roof, and SATV flip up windshield. The roof and windshield fit on mine. When the windshield is fully open, there is about 1/4” between the front middle of the roof and the windshield. It will tap if you are bouncing the machine around. If that bothers you, the front middle portion of the roof can be trimmed, and as another forum member pointed out on another thread, you won’t miss it.

Another downside of the Honda roof is its gonna add height to your machine and maybe it won't fit in your barn.

Yeah I was planning on having to deal with that. The floor is dirt, so just planned on shaving a little dirt away at the entrance to increase clearance.
